We have created this intensive English course for pilots and trainee pilots to enhance your day-to-day communication in English. The course will improve all four language skills learning relevant vocabulary, pronunciation, listening skills, reading and writing in English. Whatever challenges you face in your job you can learn the phrases, slang and small talk used in every day communication with clients and co-workers. IYE International courses will work well in conjunction with aviation exams courses and for existing aviation staff looking to brush-up on their English skills.
Who is the course for?
The course is especially for foreign nationals, working in aviation, wanting to improve their English communication skills. The course will have relevance to the delegates we deliver it to, with learning material that contains vocabulary for your day-to-day use of English.
What will I learn?
During the course you will learn more vocabulary, better pronunciation, common phrases and slang as used by native English speakers in day-to-day communication. You will improve pronunciation by learning phonetic sounds and you will gain confidence in all four skills; speaking, reading, writing and listening. The study and practise will help you become more successful and speak without searching for words. You will gain confidence in using the language both in class and when taking part in excursions.
Where are the courses held?
We book the course location, based on the number of students on the course, to ensure you get the most value for money. The course locations therefore vary, but are generally centrally in the Brighton area. After you book the course, we will send you information regarding the course location and travel options. We also deliver in-house training, if you this is your preference, so please specify this in the booking form. The course includes a whole excursion day accompanied by a teacher, our excursions take place in either Brighton, London, Portsmouth or historical town Lewes.Read more about our excursions
Are there any requirements?
Willingness to learn and a positive approach is essential and to help us make the course relevant to you, we also ask for some personal details; what you do for a living and require you to take a grammar test before course commencement, to find out more about you level of English.
